Mushroom catering runs Meon-Valley based cookery workshops from her kitchen in Soberton, for both adults and kids, which are designed to combine a great cookery experience with a large dollop of fun. 

Workshops for Adults

For the adults, Gill Holland has put together a range of exciting, themed workshops which range from Thai Cooking, through the Best of Game Dishes to Easy Entertaining for a Dinner Party and many more.  These events are great as a get-together with friends or as a corporate team-building exercise and also make an unforgettable birthday gift. 

All you need to do is get together a group of between 8 - 10 people, liaise with Gill to make sure the theme suits your interests and then pick a date.  The cookery workshops include all teaching and ingredients as well as complementary tea and coffee.  The whole experience is rounded off with everybody eating the lunch they have collectively prepared - all washed down with a glass or two of wine.  What could be better?

Workshops for Kids

The kids’ workshops are designed give children the skills and confidence they need to be able to prepare some of their favourite dishes at home after the workshop.  Gill is able to combine fun, laughter and skills-building in a way that will inspire your children to want to cook for themselves and their families.  What a great way to fill a day or two in the school holidays or as an alternative birthday party. 

Just get together a group of between 8 – 10 friends and then liaise with Gill on the dishes to be cooked and the most suitable date for everybody.  We guarantee that your kids will have a giggly day and learn a lot at the same time.

Workshops are also available for pre-university students and Duke of Edinburgh Awards pupils by request.
